EOS Lip Balm | Pomegranate Raspberry

18 March 2016

EOS Lip BalmSo i guess you can say i am a little late to jump on this bandwagon! I have had my eye on purchasing the EOS balm for some time. After online shopping on Boots.com and going back and fourth on which flavour i should choose i finally took the plunge.

EOS is an American brand that sell pretty cool beauty products such as lip balms, shaving creams and hand and body lotions. The EOS lip balm is by far their best seller. With a wide range of flavours to choose from. I eventually decided after an hour of stressing myself out over which flavour to choose and the what if's behind whether they would smell good or not i finally decided to go for the Pomegranate Raspberry flavour.

EOS Lip Balm

EOS have the following flavours:
 Bluberry Nectar
Vanilla Mint
Lemon Drop
 Medicated Tangerine
 Coconut Milk
Honeysuckle Honeydew
Summer Fruit
Sweet Mint
Pomegranate Raspberry
Strawberry Sorbet
Blubbery Acai

The Pomegranate Raspberry flavour is said to be 95% organic and 100% natural, better yet it is also paraben and petroleum free! It is packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter an jojoba oil. Lots of goodness to keep your lips super hydrated and smooth. My first view on the balm was that, who decided to but a lip balm in like an egg shape? Pretty random! It felt pretty awkward when first applying i mean its not your average lip balm packaging but aside from that it smelt great and is a fairly good lip balm to keep in your handbag. It applies clear and i felt that it did moisturise my lips nicely but i did need to re apply during the day especially as its pretty cold here in the UK at the moment and dry lips are not appealing!

I would not say this is the best lip balm on the market and im sure there are more for me to discover. But it does the job it needs too and i love that its pretty quirky from the rest out there. I purchased mine from Boots for £6.50 [here] - pretty expensive i think for what it is, but i can imagine it lasting a very long time so i guess that weighs the price out. Boots only have a handful of the above flavours but i know that Beauty Bay also sell them too along with some other EOS products [here].

  1. I have one of the EOS balms in Strawberry Milkshake and it tastes amazing! I have to agree that it's not the most moisturising balm I've ever used, though, and I do think they're overpriced for what they are...
