I love the packaging of this product, and the size is perfect to keep in my handbag to top up as I need. It also contains a mirror as well as a powder sponge. Its a nice compact product that you can slot in your handbag and blot as you go type of product! I tend to not rely on the powder sponge as typically I prefer to put powder on with a powder brush, I find a brush helps buff it into the skin more, powered sponges for me tend to feel like the product just sits at the top of the skin and does lay evenly. When applying don't over cake, you just need a dab and a light hand to buff it into the skin. If you pick up too much product you will find yourself looking a bit powdered. I tend to only use the powder for my forehead, nose and just under my eyes.
I generally have oily skin, primarily in my T-Zone area. The Soap & Glory's mattifying powder is just what I needed to control my shiny areas and guess what, I absolutely love it! I tend to sometimes use a general translucent setting powder to mattify my oily areas but it seems to not last or absorb as much as id like it too. The 'Blot Powder' is super light and really helps minimise shine and absorb excess oil. It finishes with a smooth and velvet finish and does not feel drying at all, I don think it lasts all day, hence why I tend to carry it around with me especially when I go out just to keep shine free. Id say it lasts up to around 4-5 hours.
Overall I would recommend this powder to anyone who wants to befriend shine on their skin. This is such a great product to use all year round particular in the summer times! I bought mine from Boots for £12.00 - pretty reasonable seeing as compressed powder usually lasts a long time, and a little goes a long way with this product!
Looks nice. Love its design a lot ♡
