Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

For those long days where your not totally in the mood to fully cleanse your face the Garnier Cleansing Micellar Water is your best friend. This product is great for clearing off eye and face make-up pretty quick. I have heard lots of great things about this cleansing water and i thought id get my hands on it. I have been using it for about a month now on those days that i either don't really have much make-up on or i just need a quick cleanse..

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Micellar water has tiny small balls of molecules that are in the water. When the product is applied to the skin the molecules grab hold of any dirt and make-up almost like a magnet. The product does definitely lift the grime and dirt off your skin which is pretty impressive and is very gentle. I found that it does not dry out your face which is what I would have usually expected from a cleansing water it is very hydrating and leaves your skin feeling very smooth and clean.

Personally, I like to deep cleanse my face most evenings and I would only use this product on those lazy days or as I said when im not wearing much on my skin. For those who don't tend to wear much make-up this is defo for you. To apply this onto my skin I put a few drops of the water onto a cotton pad and whisked this over my face gently. I did this twice just too make sure I had taken off all of my make-up. Once you cleansed your face and initially look at the cotton pads and see all the dirt its kind of like ewww gross but at the same time very satisfying because you know its really lifting all the make-up and dirt on your skin and there is no need to rinse afterwards.

Overall I think this product is great, it does what it says on the bottle and really does make your skin feel super clean soft and hydrated. It is only £4.99 at Boots or Superdrug for a 400ml bottle! Currently Superdrug have this on offer for £3.32 here! What a bargain grab it fast!

  3. I was on the hunt for this for weeks, then I learned it's not available in the US yet :( It sounds so great though! I have Bioderma and the Simple Cleansing Water and I love both of those, they are great for removing arm swatches too!

  7. I have this, and like yourself only use this for lazy days when I really have no energy to properly cleanse my face. I like knowing that my make up has been completely removed and the dirt has been removed in the space of a few seconds when I really need to get to sleep.

  8. This has got to be hands down one of my favourite ever makeup removing products. I have lost count of how many bottles I have gone through now. I recently picked up the sensitive version (green bottle) and it lives up to the original :)

  15. I love micellar waters but I'd only ever use them as a pre-cleanse, I always end up removing more makeup with my deep cleanse afterwards :)
