Whats In The March Glossy Box?

31 March 2015

Sorry for the delay in getting this one posted, i received my box only last week and ive been super busy. This month box did impress me, i quite liked all the products i received and i will use all of them! Horaay for March's Glossybox! So let me take you through what i received...

Product 1 - Sleek Make-Up Pout Paint

This little guy at first didnt surprise me due to the colour but turned out to be my favourite products from the box. I don't usually wear Barbie coloured pink lips! However, i thought id try and test this out. I put this on with a lip brush. Be careful though the product is a little runny. It is also not sticky at all which didnt help easily smear the product on my lips. I needed some sort of stickiness for it to blend in and stay put if that makes sense? It took a while to really build and blend this in to make sure i filled my lips completely and there weren't any gaps. It wasn't the easiest lip stain to use to be honest. The reason why i used a lip brush is because the applicator is not at all helpful to apply on the lips. Anyway, after applying this i was actually surprised how this looked i quite liked it. I was wearing a really simple eye look this day so this really went with the dramatic pink lip. This is defo a lovely spring/summer lip and i will defo keep using it! Horaaay!

Product 2 - Essence Lash Princess Volume Mascara

This mascara was my second favourite product from this months box. My first impressions before trying the product was "Doh, its not a rubber brush" but to my surprise, It was actually a pretty nice mascara. I have been using this as an everyday mascara for the past few days and have to say the bristle brushes are  growing on me and does make your lashes look fuller and with more volume! This only costs a little £4... yes that much!! This is a defo must have in your make-up bag especially to use everyday its a bargain! I was honestly expecting this guy to cost more!

Product 3 - NAOBAY Moisturising Peeling

It is the first time i have heard of NAOBAY also known as "Natural And Organic Beauty And You". Im a total skincare junkie! i have tons of different skin care products and i tend to spend more money on skin care than make-up! This product is actually really lovely, smells quite nice and really does have good exfoliating granules. The moisturising facial peeling treatment has a very creamy sort of texture it contains acai particles, olive oil, shea butter (my fav), sweet alomond oil and gotu kola which helps keep the skin super soft while gently exfoliating those dirty dead skin cells. All the ingredients are natural and organic which i love! Anything that is natural is a must have for me! It does make your skin feel super clean and fresh - i will be checking out what other products they have to offer! If you have tried any of their other products, please comment below!

Product 4 - ncLA Nail Lacquer

The first thing i thought of when i received this was how my sister would love it (she is obsessed with nail varnish) - i tend to get my nails done with shellac often because im terrible with keeping my nail varnish on for a week without it chipping. This colour is called "Like...Totally Valley Girl" what a weird name to call a nail polish lol! Anyway, this polish is PERFECT for spring. It has a nice brush applicator and brushes onto the nails nicely. To my shock, this nail varnish costs £13.00! Im not sure if id ever spend that much money on a bottle of nail varnish. As mentioned i get shellac nails done often this costs me £20 but never chips and lasts up to 4 weeks and keeps my nails strong too so im happy to pay... not sure if im that much of a nail varnish freak to pay £13.00 for a pot! What are your thoughts?

Product 5 - Dove Youthful Vitality Shampoo & Conditioner Duo

This is a new range from Dove that is supposed to help aged hair or ageing hair to feel more replenished and full. The products are infused with Cysteine rich protein and Elasto-Lipid which help nourish and re-energise and uplift the hair to make it look more youthful and fresh. Being super curious i tried and tested this shampoo and conditioner - it did in fact make my hair feel smoother and more nourished. I guess i will need to use it more often to really see results im not entirely sure if this product is for me. Im really picky when it comes to shampoos and conditioners. We shall see! On a plus this is very handy to take away for short breaks or weekends away!

Overall Verdict

I must say, Glossybox has impressed me this month and im much happier with my goodies with this months box than my Feburary Box. Im very much looking forward to my April box to see if they win me over again! I do recommend that Glossybox is worth purchasing if you are a beauty, hair and skincare fan. Its a nice little treat and surprise each month and some of the products are fab! For only £10 you receive products in total that are worth a lot more!
